ISTANBUL, TURKEY
The incident occurred at around 05:30AM in front of a hotel on Beyoglu, Karakoy district, Kemankes Street. According to the allegations, American journalist Andre Vltchek came to Istanbul with his wife Rossie Indira Vltchek and two drivers.
Rossie Indira Vltchek wanted to wake up her 57-year-old husband who was sleeping when they arrived in front of the hotel where they were staying for 9 days in Samsun. However, he did not wake up. Rossie Indira and the drivers informed the medical teams.
The medical teams, who came to the scene upon the notice, determined that the Russian-born journalist died after the first intervention. While the journalist’s body was taken to the forensic morgue and the vehicle was taken to the police car parking lot. Police are investigating the incident.
