The abandoned EURO 2024 qualifier between Belgium and Sweden will not be replayed, and the 1-1 score at halftime has been confirmed as the final result, UEFA said on Thursday.

Monday match in Brussels was called off when two Swedish nationals were killed and another injured following a shooting near the King Baudouin Stadium.

“The match is abandoned and the result at the half-time interval (1-1) is confirmed as final,” UEFA said in a statement.

It added that Belgium and Sweden were awarded one point each and the Group F standings will be “updated accordingly.”

“Any suspension is considered served and single yellow cards remain valid,” UEFA said.

Group leaders Belgium have already qualified for the EURO 2024 finals in Germany, while second-place Austria also booked their place on Monday.

Sweden, third in Group F, have been mathematically eliminated.

The EURO 2024 qualifying group stage will end in November.

The gunman was shot dead by the police in a Brussels district on Tuesday morning, according to Belgium’s interior minister.
