France to host Round 12 of 2022 Formula 1 World Championship

Formula One will visit France this weekend for Round 12 of the 2022 season.

The French Grand Prix will be held over 53 laps on the 5.842-kilometer (3,630-mile) track at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet.

Last year’s champion Red Bull Racing’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen sealed six victories, while Ferrari’s Monegasque racer Charles Leclerc won three races this season.

Verstappen’s Mexican teammate Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Spanish driver Carlos Sainz each clinched one victory in 2022.

Sunday’s race will kick off at 1300GMT.
