Military plane crashes in Kazakhstan

MOSCOW

A military plane crashed while performing a training flight in the Karaganda region, Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.

The crew of the Su-30SM fighter jet ejected safely, the ministry said in a statement.

A special expert commission of the Ministry of Defense has been established to probe the causes and circumstances of the crash.
