The price of an ounce of gold was $2,684.79, while Brent crude oil sold for around $80.34 per barrel as of 6:55 p.m. local time (1555GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.4885, the euro/lira exchange rate was 36.5604, and the British pound traded at 43.2889 liras.
