Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday Dec. 3

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1200-1500GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,937.79 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 6.55% to around 1.7 billion liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,654.44 liras and 2,689.39 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (1300-1500GMT), while the lowest rate at 1,799.38 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100GMT).

US$1 equals 34.71 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Monday.
