The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 6 a.m and 11 a.m and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0300-0800 GMT and 1300-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,244 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 2.7% to around 1.88 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,820.64 liras and 2,840.71 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m and 11 a.m and between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500-0800 GMT and 1200-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate at 2,118 liras between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. local time (0000 and 0200 GMT).
