ANKARA
New Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will be looking to maintain the undefeated streak of his team in the UEFA Europa League matchday 5 game against Norwegian Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Portuguese coach, who recently joined the Red Devils, emphasized the need for tactical adjustments: “United cannot play the way (Sporting) play, and we will have to adapt.”
Bodo/Glimt, known for their resilience, have lost only one of their five European away games this season, a 2-0 defeat against Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League playoffs.
Manchester United, currently 15th in the league standings with six points from three draws, will have to overcome injury concerns. Veteran English defender Harry Maguire remains doubtful due to a muscle injury sustained in October.
Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt, sitting in 12th place with seven points, may also be without winger Daniel Bassi, who is recovering from a thigh injury.
Bodo/Glimt are at the 12th spot with 7 points, while Manchester United lay at the 15th spot with 6 points.
