Türkiye grieves with Spain over deaths in flash floods

ISTANBUL

Türkiye on Wednesday offer condolences to Spaniards over this week’s deaths from flash floods in the country’s southeast.

A Turkish Foreign Ministry statement said that Türkiye is “deeply saddened” over the loss of lives resulting from the recent floods in Valencia and the surrounding areas.

Catastrophic flooding in Spain’s Valencia region has left 51 people dead, according to official data.
