The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,699.87 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,300 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an increase of 9.1% to around 1.56 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,198.35 liras and 2,211.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,609.99 liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,158.61 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
