The total volume of global digital services trade exceeded $3 trillion as of the end of last year, an international report revealed on Thursday.
The “Digital Trade for Development” report prepared by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the World Bank, and World Trade Organization (WTO) was published.
The report indicates that the global trade volume of digital services has quadrupled since 2005, reaching a total of $3.3 trillion by the end of 2022.
The share of global digital services trade in total global trade is 12%, it showed.
