European stock exchanges end Monday mixed

ISTANBUL

European stock exchanges closed mixed on Monday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, rose 0.4 points, or 0.09%, to finish flat at 459.68.

France’s CAC 40, meanwhile, increased four points, or 0.06%, to end the day at 7,319.

The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, was down almost 10 points, or 0.13%, to close the session at 7,554.

Germany’s DAX declined just one point, or 0.1%, to wrap up the day flat at 15,950.

Italy’s FTSE MIB was the worst performer of the day, losing 38 points, or 0.14%, to 28,547.

Spain’s IBEX 35 also shed 9.8 points, or 0.1%, to end the day at 9,358.
