On behalf of US President Donald Trump, it was reported that a package containing the deadly toxic substance “ricin” was sent to the White House in Washington DC, the US capital.
According to the reports in the US press, it was stated that the package was sent to the White House earlier this week and Trump’s name was on it as the recipient. While the package was confiscated by the security forces, it was stated that two tests were carried out to verify the presence of his wife. An investigation into the incident was initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Secret Service tasked with protecting the President. The White House has not yet made a statement on the issue.
All mail sent to the White House is classified and checked in a location outside the facility.
