NEW YORK, NY
US meteorological officials announced that the hurricane and storm, which is expected to cause major material damage and be effective in the region where approximately 20 million people live, are moving towards the eastern and northern states of the country.
The storm, which travels 60 kilometers through Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas, is expected to turn into a hurricane before approaching Florida on Saturday.
It is stated that after the Monday, Isaias will be effective in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut States. Due to the storm, hurricane and flood alarms were issued for the weekend in many Eastern US States.
In a statement by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Authority (FEMA), it is stated that the areas that will be affected by storm and hurricane are declared as “emergency zones” and the measures are increased.
