The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,650 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (0600 and 1500 – 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,124.99 liras at 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. (0200 and 0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 13.1% to 1.52 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,886.43 liras and 2,911.49 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 3,650 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0500, 0600 and 1400 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 2,250 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
