Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Nov. 28

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m, 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600GMT) and between 4 p.m to 6 p.m. (1300 to 1500GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,625.91 liras at 3 a.m and 6 a.m. local time (0000, 0300 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 61.1% to 1.76 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,530.42 liras and 3,694.39 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set as 4,800 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was agreed at 995,96 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 18.59 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
