ANKARA
A 10-man Barcelona defeated Sevilla 4-1 in a Spanish La Liga week 23 clash Sunday.
Barca’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski’s early opener in the 7th minute was responded to in kind just one minute later by Sevilla’s Ruben Vargas at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
The visitor’s Fermin Lopez was sent off just 16 minutes after finding the net in 46th minute.
Brazilian star Raphinha tallied the third goal for Barcelona in the 55th minute.
Barca’s Eric Garcia found the net in the 89th minute for the final score.
Barcelona are in third spot with 48 points, two points behind leaders Real Madrid, while Sevilla are in 13th spot with 28 points.
