Kristof Rasovszky of Hungary wins men’s 10km marathon swimming gold at 2024 Paris Olympics

ANKARA

Kristof Rasovszky of Hungary on Friday won men’s 10km marathon swimming gold medal with a time of 1 hour 50 minutes and 52.7 seconds time at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Rasovszky took the lead at the 6.6km mark and never let it go.

German swimmer Oliver Klemet was awarded the silver medal with a time of 1:50:54.8, while Rasovszky’s compatriot David Betlehem bagged the bronze with 1:51:09.0 at Pont Alexandre III.

This marked the first Paris 2024 event in which two athletes from the same country contingent won medals.
